In December 2018, we introduced Pittsburgh AI as a nascent concept, driven by a sense of urgency and necessity for us to build a stronger AI community in Pittsburgh, and better equip our region to tackle the challenges and opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. 6 months and 6 events later, we've engaged with hundreds of people around Pittsburgh and gathered a growing team of leaders and partners. We're now excited to announce the official launch of PGH.AI, a community-led initiative dedicated to improving the accessibility, connectivity, and transparency of Pittsburgh’s rich artificial intelligence ecosystem.
Please join us for our launch party on Friday, June 21, at JLL, and look forward to:
Hearing what PGH.AI has planned for the future
Meeting people from across Pittsburgh's AI ecosystem
Complimentary food & drinks
Outdoor rooftop patio overlooking Market Square
Interactive demos from PGH.AI partners and sponsors
Fun activities, including a "robot petting zoo"
Music by Andy Chan
Solo performance debut by Ray Li (VR DJ from Veserium)
More surprises to come...
If you have a cool technology demo or interactive exhibit that we should consider featuring at our launch party, please email us at email@example.com.
Please note that this is a 21+ event, and that we are asking for a $10 admission fee to help us cover some of the costs. We also welcome additional donations from anyone who is kindly willing to support our nonprofit mission. PGH.AI values creating safe, inclusive, and welcoming environments, and offers most programs free of charge for attendees from all backgrounds.
